NParks Chek Jawa intertidal tours cancelled: 1 Jul to 31 Dec 2012

"Due to upgrading works for the floating pontoons at Chek Jawa Wetlands, guided tours at Chek Jawa Wetlands will be cancelled from 1st July to 31st December 2012, to facilitate the works to be carried out" says Ubin NParks.

They add that "It was with much consideration before this decision was made. As much as we want the tours to carry on, the contractors have to carry out the works during low tides."

But the boardwalk remains open as usual! It is only the intertidal trips that are suspended.

Cancellation of Guided Tours at Chek Jawa Wetlands from 1 July to 31 December 2012

Upgrading works for the floating pontoons at Chek Jawa Wetlands will be carried out from 1 July to 31 December 2012. To facilitate the works, guided tours at Chek Jawa Wetlands will be cancelled during this period of time. We apologize for any inconvenience caused as we upgrade our facilities to serve you better.
