Meet the marine volunteers of Singapore!

Always wanted to make a difference for Singapore's marine biodiversity? But not sure what is being done, and who are involved?
Come to VivoCity this weekend 13-14 Jul for the Festival of Biodiversity! Meet the passionate volunteers who clean up, dive, document, explore, guide, monitor, train and do lots more our shores!


The Marine Exhibition will be manned by volunteers from the marine community! All of us have come together to share about Singapore's marine life and the many ways that we are working for them. We'd love to tell you more about what we do!

Learn more about Singapore's marine biodiversity at the Festival of Biodiversity! The exhibition will also feature Singapore's amazing marine ecosystems, from mysterious mangroves to lush seagrass meadows, amazing reefs to strange sandy shores.
A4 Poster: Singapore has world-class reefs
Passionate and knowledgeable volunteers will be there with interactive games to share more about Singapore's amazing marinelife! One of these games include Seashore CSI: Who died? Who killed them? Be a seashore detective! Take a closer look at some common bits and pieces of marine life that you can find on Singapore shores.

Lots of FREE art and craft workshops for kids!

Wild clay! Learn to make clay figurines of wild animals found in Singapore! Choose from a knobbly sea star, a mudskipper or a butterfly and have fun while learning the characteristics of these animals. Find out where these animals are found in Singapore and how we can help them!
Marine colouring workshop: Get to know the marine life forms that Singapore has, through our simple colouring workshop. Suitable for children 3-8years old. All materials will be provided.
Saving turtles! Kids learn more about sea turtles from friendly volunteers from the Raffles Girls School through a hands-on art and craft session where you will get to create your very own turtle art. Suitable for kids 5-12 years.

The Festival is an effort by the Biodiversity Roundtable to celebrate Singapore's biodiversity and highlight how each of us CAN make a difference!
