YES! Singapore got dolphins, sea turtles and dugongs!

Sea turtles too!

In August, NParks reported sightings of sea turtles hatching and laying at East Coast Park! Sea turtles hatched at East Coast Park on 17 Aug 2017

Adult sea turtles are also seen in our waters elsewhere. Like this one off Terumbu Semakau seen on 23 Aug 2017



Signs of dugongs!

During a survey of Changi on 21 Aug 2017, we saw dugong feeding trails in the seagrass meadows. We saw this too on our last survey here in Jun 2016.

We also saw dugong feeding trails at Cyrene on our survey there on 12 Aug 2017.

We almost never see the dugong but one was spotted at Chek Jawa in Oct 2013 during a Naked Hermit Crab walk for families there.
